ATHENS — Curator Cynthia Karasek, co-curator Randall Evans and artist Harry Matthews discuss an upcoming outdoor sculpture festival entitled “A Rising Tide: Imagining a Warmer Climate,” being offered by the Athens Cultural Center. The trio are standing with Matthews' contribution entitled “Antropoliths” installed at the Riverside Park at Athens. Thirteen works in all are spread among three locations, including the Athens park, the Four Mile Point Preserve near Coxsackie and The Willows at Brandow Point near Catskill. The exhibit opens this Saturday, Aug. 11 with a reception at the Athens Cultural Center on Second Street from 6-8 p.m., and runs through Oct. 12
